Raw stories wrapped in warmth and grain — we didn’t polish the truth, we just let it breathe. This is vulnerability, refined by AK Record.

KANE came in with only a notebook and a feeling. Our job was to translate that raw energy into something textured but not overworked. It’s lo-fi soul with an edge — like vinyl playing through city rain.

RECORDING ENGINEER
Mic bleed? We let it live. The subtle hum, the chair creak — those imperfections made the performance human.
MIXING ENGINEER
We preserved the grit but kept it warm. The low end was held back just enough to let his voice lead. A mix that lets the listener lean in, not get overwhelmed.
VOCAL EDITING
Edits focused on feel, not flawlessness. We retained the texture in his delivery — the slight pitch dips, the broken phrases — all part of his truth. Cleaned only where it served the story.
VOCAL DIRECTION
Minimal input — KANE knows his voice like a street he’s walked a hundred times. We just helped map the pace and emotional cadence.
SESSION MANAGEMENT
The final outro wasn’t planned. He kept singing after the beat faded, and we captured it. That last 12 seconds? Unfiltered magic.
